This is the first picture of an expectant father stabbed in the stomach in a car park street fight just weeks before his baby was due to be born.
The victim, named locally as Mally, 22, was found suffering from a “serious” injury to his stomach at 7.13pm on Saturday in Temple Hill Square, Dartford.
His heartbroken family launched a GoFundMe to help raise money for his unborn child’s future.
Joanne Dawson wrote: “Right now it’s hard to put the words together. Struggling to find the words to say and writing this with a broken heart.
“This is a fundraiser for our loving, funny and playful beautiful boy who’s life & future was stolen in the most disgustingly cruel way on the 2nd April 2022.
“He had so much to live for. Just 22 years old, with his baby due in two weeks.
“He was just 2 weeks away from becoming a father for the first time. So young with his whole life ahead of him. So many broken hearts.”
The fundraiser has raised more than £6,000 in 24 hours since its launch.
Police believe Mally was attacked in a parking area in Mallard Close, shortly before he was found injured. No arrests have been made.
Officers have already spoken with several potential witnesses but believe there a number of people who have important information and are yet to get in contact.
