Tributes have been paid to the great-grandmother that tragically passed away after a crash in Dublin last week.
Eileen Dalton was involved in the fatal accident that occurred on George's Street Lower at the junction with Convent Lane in Dún Laoghaire at around 10am on Friday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services after being struck by a truck.
The driver of the truck, in his 30s, and his passenger, also in his 30s, were treated at the scene for their injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Tributes poured in on RIP.ie after her death notice was published.
One person wrote: "Our sincere condolences to all the family of this beautiful lady. We will miss her passing by our house always with a smile a wave or a chat
A second said: "I am so sorry for your loss my deepest sympathy to all. Eileen was a beautiful lady may she rest in peace. Thinking of you all."
While a third wrote: "Eileen was such a light in the world. Full of the best parts of life and always a joy to meet and spend time with. Always on the go, She was the first person we met when we moved and she was so lovely we knew we would be happy there. She minded the boys for us and they thought she was brilliant. We will miss her terribly."
The death notice reads: "Eileen; dearly beloved wife and best friend of Nickie, much loved mother of Ashley, devoted grandmother to Carla and Robyn and great-grandmother of Stevie and Finn.
