League of Ireland clubs have led the tributes following news of the death of Finn Harps stalwart Ronan Roddy.
The popular Stranorlar man passed away following a short illness at the Donegal Hospice in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
He was a familiar face to anyone who had ever visited Finn Harps as an ever-present match steward with his friendly nature recalled in countless tributes since the tragic news emerged.

Finn Harps posted online: "Today we are all heartbroken at the news that we have lost our man Ronan. Our steward, supporter and our great friend. Ronan, it's impossible to imagine match nights without you.
"Thank you for all your help, your kindness, your sense of humour and for being such a loyal and valued member of the Finn Harps family. Our sincerest condolences to Phil, Pauline, Timothy, Louise and all of Ronans family and friends. Ronan you'll always be part of us. RIP."
Derry City replied: "Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all at the club. May he rest in peace."
Shamrock Rovers also shared their condolences: "Very sad news. Ronan was a loyal and dedicated ambassador of our game, for which any club would be fortunate to have. A familiar and friendly face on our trips to Ballybofey. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone at Finn Harps Football Club. May he Rest In Peace."
Former Finn Harps player and now Academy Director Kevin McHugh said: "Absolutely gutted. What a character Ronan was. Be sorely missed. RIP my man."
The Finn Harps FC fan group also shared their thoughts. A statement online read: "In utter shock to read that devoted club volunteer and massive Harps supporter, Ronan Roddy has passed away at the age of 44.
"Ronan was a dedicated volunteer for the club and was regularly found on match nights working as a steward, standing at the end of the tunnel at the exit of the clubhouse.
"Thoughts are with his family & friends from all in the Fan Group. Rest in peace Ronan."
Sligo Rovers posted: "Condolences to Ronan’s family, friends and everyone at Finn Harps. Ronan was always a friendly face on our visits to Finn Park. May he rest in peace."
His funeral takes place on Saturday, January 21 at 11am at the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar.
