Tributes have been flowing in for an 'always smiling' Crumlin legend who died last Friday.
Pat Lettis was extremely well-known in the area for his kind nature and for being an all round gentleman. He was married to his beloved wife Mary for 68 years, with the pair still walking around hand in hand.

A relative told Dublin Live that Pat will be a massive loss to the entire community. She said: "Pat celebrated his 90th birthday in March of this year.
She said:"He met his wife Mary over 75years ago. He is married to Mary for 68 years. They were a devoted couple and still went around holding hands. They were an example of what every marriage should be. They constantly sang to each other .
"They have lived in Crumlin all their lives, they have a large family sons, daughters, grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Pat was a true gentleman, always smiling, a very happy man."
A local page said that Pat set a high standard for all Crumlin residents and that he will be sadly missed.
They posted: "Very sad news reaching us this evening of the passing of one of life’s true gentlemen. Mr. Lettis from Windmill Avenue was a real life Crumlin legend.
"He was an example to all Crumlin men and he set a very high bar for all of us to follow."
Neighbours, relatives and friends have posted their condolences online.
One person said: "Pat was a true gentleman, unique in his own right, always smiling and singing a tune. He was a wonderful husband , the love he showed for Mary always made me stand up and take notice."
Another wrote: "A true gentleman, one of the kindest men I ever met."
Pat's funeral mass will take place tomorrow morning in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
