Tributes have flooded in for three teenagers killed in a horror car crash over the weekend, as two of the victims were named and pictured.
A 17-year-old and two 18-year-olds died from their injuries following the serious collision involving an Alfa Romeo in North Yorkshire's Hambleton district, on the B6268 near the town of Bedale, at around 11pm on Friday.
A fourth teenager who was driving the vehicle, also aged 18, suffered serious injuries and is in hospital. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved, reports Yorkshire Live.
Two of the teenagers who died have been named locally as Aaron Bell and Loui Banks. The third boy has not yet been named but all three were students at Bedale High School.
Hundreds of people have shared tributes to the teenagers. One mourner said: "It's not just three lives lost, it's three families totally destroyed."
A number of the boys' friends have said "we miss you" and shared their own tributes online, with other comments from people across the country.
School friend Elise Lee said: "You guys where taken from us too soon. We all love you and we hope you're in a better place. I’m so sorry this has happened to you boys, you were truly amazing. Rip we love you."
Kieren Pounder wrote: "These lad have been some good mates to me. Their lives have gone but they're never forgotten."
Fiona Gill Kilgallon added: "Such heart-breaking news, sincere condolences to families… and friends. Prayers for them all, hopefully the driver will find the strength to recover from his injuries both physically and mentally and that he gets the support to help him, what an horrific tragedy."
