Tributes have been paid to a woman found dead at a residential address in Coventry.
Pauline Sweeney, 50, was found with stab wounds at an address in the city on 20 March.
Emergency services were called to an incident at about 8.30pm on that date but Sweeney died at the scene.
William Brady, 57, who is thought to have been her partner, has been charged with murder.
In a statement, Sweeney’s family said: “Pauline Sweeney was our mother. She was the life and soul of every room she walked into.
“She was a strong woman who wouldn’t let anything bring her down. We’ll remember her with a tear in our eye and love in our hearts. Rest in peace. Love from your seven children.”
Brady is due to appear at crown court on 9 May.
A spokesperson for West Midlands police said: “Our thoughts remain with Pauline’s loved ones at this distressing time and we’ll be doing all we can to support them.”
