Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist from Limerick who passed away following a road collision on Saturday.
He has been described as a “lovely guy” by those who knew him.
A heartbroken community in Limerick have shared tributes to Jack Colling, who passed away following a motorcycle accident over the weekend.
Local councillor Sharon Benson said: “Jack was a wonderful father and liked by everyone who knew him. He was very gentle and had a great sense of humour. My thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time."
Celtic Souls Mcc, a motorcycle club based in the mid-west, shared a post on Facebook for their late friend.
“Sad day today, we lost a good friend and a fellow biker Jack. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. R.I.P,” it said.
Users shared their messages in the comments, with one writing: “Oh No! Sorry to hear this sad news. R.I.P Jack. Ride High, Ride Free.”
“Ah Jack.. so sorry to hear this. May you rest in Peace. Condolences to his family and friends,” another said.
While a local club in the area said: “Garryowen FC wish to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of former player Jack Colling who was tragically killed in a motorbike accident.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Charlie and the Colling family at this heartbreaking time. Jack Colling RIP.”

A service dedicated to Jack will take place in Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday, March 16, at 3pm. It will be streamed live from their website.
