Tributes are pouring in for Glenn Fullam, a popular footballer and soldier, who has died suddenly.
Glenn Fullam was a soldier with the Irish Air Corps, and also played football with Crumlin United FC. The talented footballer and dedicated soldier lived in Blackrock, and his brother Jason led tributes on social media to him.
Jason wrote on Facebook yesterday: "There are no words to explain the pain of this. A True Soldier. Love you so much. Your big bro Jay."

Crumlin United also paid tribute to Glenn, describing him as a "shining light." They wrote on social media: "Everyone at Crumlin United Football Club wish to pay their condolences to Kirsty, her son and John and all Fulham family and brother to current player Lee on the sudden passing of Glenn.
"Glenn you will be sadly missed by everyone at the club your smile and positivity was like a shining light. RIP."
The Irish Air Corps also gave a heart-felt tribute to Glenn, who had joined the Defence Forces in 2017 and he also served with the UNIFIL 114 Infantry Battalion.
They wrote on social media: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of Airman Glenn Fullam from CIS.
"Glenn was not just a colleague, but a dear friend to many of us. His dedication, professionalism, and kind-hearted nature will always be remembered.
Glenn joined the DF in 2017, served with UNIFIL 114 INF BN and CIS in the Irish Air Corps,making significant contributions to our team and to the DF community as a whole. His unwavering commitment to his friends and family, his duty to the Air Corps and his exceptional skills and passion for soccer, were evident to all who had the privilege of working with him.
"Glenn was known for his warm smile, his sense of humour and his devotion to his soccer teams, including the DF International Soccer Team. Glenn will be deeply missed by all of us. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Glenn's family, friends, and loved ones.
"Rest in peace, Glenn Fullam. You will be forever remembered and greatly missed. Thank you for your service and your friendship," they added.
His former football club Stella Maris FC said in their tribute on Twitter that Glenn would be "hugely missed" by the football community. They wrote on Twitter: "All at Stella wish to send their condolences to the family & friends of former Stella Star Glenn Fullam hugely missed by the football community & by all at his current team @crumlinunited. Taken too young.
Glenn also previously played for Ireland through the Irish Defence Forces football team. They shared a photo of Glenn proudly representing his country, and said: "It is with the greatest sadness that we regret to announce the passing of our player Glenn Fullam, a talented footballer and a comrade on and off the pitch, who will be deeply missed."
