Both Claremorris GAA and Mayo GAA have paid tribute to a young baby that died at the age of just 10 months.
Baby Cillian Rochford Diskin, whose father is Mayo GAA star Conor Diskin, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 1 leaving his friends, family and community heartbroken.
The Claremorris GAA club paid tribute to baby Cillian and his loving parents Conor and Zoe.

"Claremorris GAA club expresses heartfelt condolences to Conor and Zoe and to the Diskin and Rochford families at this time of great sadness and overwhelming grief.
"The sudden loss of baby Cillian (ten months) has shocked the region and the heartache and pain that the family is coping with now must be almost unbearable.
"Conor is one of our leading players on the Claremorris senior team and he has also sported the Mayo jersey in various grades with the county teams.
"He was a member of the Mayo senior team that won the National League Final in 2019. The hearts of all go out to Conor and Zoe and their families in these darkest of times for all of them."
Mayo GAA also paid their respects to the family: "Mayo GAA are saddened to hear of the passing of baby Cillian Rochford Diskin RIP. Cillian is the son of former Mayo footballer Conor Diskin."
