Tributes have been laid at the site where a motorcyclist was killed in St Helens yesterday.
Flowers were at the edge of the Rainford Bypass where the crash happened.
The biker, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash which happened late on Saturday morning.
Merseyside Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision on the bypass, at Mossborough Road, at around 11.15am.
After news of the tragic incident broke ECHO readers posted their own tributes to the man who has not yet been named.
Lynda Greaves said: "Rip, heartfelt sympathy to the family on your very sad loss. Gone too soon. May God bless and keep him safe in heaven amen xxx."
Nikita Davies said: "So sad. RIP to the poor young man."
Cazzie Byrne said: "So sad. Rest in paradise."
Police said yesterday that his next of kin were being informed and their inquiries were ongoing.
The driver of a car stopped at the scene and was helping with the investigation.
