Kate Cooper has been remembered as a “beautiful soul” after she tragically died from a fatal fall in Queensland.
On Friday afternoon, 36-year-old Kate Cooper passed away after she fell 80 metres down a waterfall at Mapleton Falls National Park on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services attended to Cooper, who was found with significant injuries in a life-threatening condition. Tragically, Cooper died at the scene.
In a touching tribute, Cooper’s partner, Simon Rosenkranz, took to Facebook and remembered her as “the most beautiful person I’ve ever met.”
“Rest in peace, my love,” he penned alongside a series of photos of Cooper.
“You were the most beautiful person I’ve ever met and made me feel so loved and cared for.
“I’ll miss and love you more everyday and cherish the wonderful memories we made.
“I just can’t believe you’re gone.”

Rosekranz’s post has since been flooded with condolences and messages reflecting on Cooper’s life, many remembering her as a “beautiful human”.
“She was a beautiful soul, taken way too soon. Sending my deepest condolences to you,” one friend wrote.
“She was such a beautiful soul. Rest in peace Kate,” another commented.
Per 9News, another woman, aged 18, was also taken to Nambour Hospital on Friday with minor injuries.
Cooper’s death comes months after two teenagers, both 17, tragically passed away at Wappa Falls, also on the Sunshine Coast.
