Tributes flood in for 'kind little sweetheart' killed in horror crash

Tributes have flooded in for a "kind little sweetheart" who was killed in a car crash on the M6.

Faye Dawson, three, from Wallasey, died when her mum's Vauxhall Meriva was involved in a crash with a Porsche Boxster driven by a 79-year-old man who also died on the southbound carriageway of the M6 near Leyland on Saturday, November 19. Her mum and a man who was also in the car both suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Earlier today a heartfelt tribute was released on behalf of Faye's family, which said she was "very loved by everyone who met" her.

Faye's devastated family said: "Our beautiful Faye Grace, words will never express the heartache we are all going through since you were tragically taken from us. We can’t see the future without you, it has left a massive hole in our lives.

"Everyone says how precious their daughter/granddaughter is but you were an exception, you were such a clever little girl who was very funny and had us all laughing all the time. You were so loving and caring and above all very loved by everyone who met you.

"You’re now at rest with your great nanny, great grandad and Uncle Jimmy. Words won’t justify how much we are all going to miss you and how much we all love you.

"Your mummy is being so brave and she will continue to make you proud. You were too little to be taken away from us, but we know the angels will look after you and they’re lucky to have you dancing in the sky with them.

"We are all so heartbroken that you were taken far too young but we are so glad that we got to have you for the time we did. RIP baby girl, we are all missing you and will carry on forever. All our love."

Hundreds of people have paid tribute to little Faye in the comments, with many sending their condolences to her family.

Zoe Davies said: "Rest in peace Faye. Still cant believe it's true. You made us all smile when we would see you blowing kisses through the window and the memories of you will be cherished by us all. I'll always remember the gentleness you had when I showed you our little kitten and how happy you were. A beautiful, kind little sweetheart. All our thoughts are with you and all your families."

Angela Barr said: "Absolutely devastating, all our love and thoughts are with both families. Betty and Honey absolutely idolised beautiful little Faye their hearts are broken, they will miss her terribly. Life is so cruel. Sleep tight little Faye."
