The Arizona Cardinals have signed all eight of their player selections from the 2022 NFL draft. Their top pick was tight end Trey McBride, selected in the second round, 55th overall.
He signed his four-year rookie contract recently.

McBride’s rookie contract is four years and worth just less than $6.3 million.
He receives more than $1.76 million for his signing bonus.
He will make the league’s minimum salary in 2022 at $705,000. That salary is fully guaranteed.
In 2023, his salary increases to more than $991,000. That is also fully guaranteed.
His 2024 salary will be $1.28 million and his 2025 salary will be $1.56 million.
He has no guarantees in the final two years.
Salary cap implications
The cap hit for his signing bonus will be prorated over the four years of the contract. His cap hit each year will be his salary plus the bonus proration.
His cap hit will be as follows:
- 2022: $1.15 million
- 2023: $1.43 million
- 2024: $1.72 million
- 2025: $2.0 million
