No Cincinnati Bengals appear on the Associated Press All-Pro team, continuing a streak dating back to 2015.
Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was the major contender for the honor this year as he nearly led the league in sacks with 17.5, falling just behind Pittsburgh Steelers star T.J. Watt’s 19 sacks.
Watt and Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett made it as first-team edge rushers, while Micah Parsons and Maxx Crosby made the second team.
Unfortunately for Hendrickson, he falls victim to a logjam when it comes to pass-rushers who probably should have made the list.
The Bengals haven’t had a first-team All-Pro member since Geno Atkins and Andrew Whitworth made it in 2015.
