St Mirren have agreed a contract extension with No. 1 Trevor Carson.

The 34-year-old is a player boss Stephen Robinson knows well having previously worked with him at Motherwell. The St Mirren board are looking to get the crux of Robinson’s squad together. The Buddies boss has put a team together that is sitting proudly in the top six. They are hoping to seal a top half finish and then to make a late European push.
Captain Mark O’Hara and Australian international Ryan Strain are two others with more than a year on their contracts that the club are set to open talks with. Striker Curtis Main is also out of contract in the summer.
