football.london understands that Trevoh Chalobah is in Italy on holiday, but he's also deciding whether or not Milan is a suitable place to live. It's believed that the defender will also have a meeting about a potential move to Internazionale, who are negotiating with Chelsea over a deal.
The 23-year-old defender has been heavily linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge recently as Mauricio Pochettino looks to trim down a bloated squad. While Chalobah has impressed when called upon, he seems to face an uncertain future at his boyhood club.
The Cobham graduate featured 33 times for the Blues last season, predominantly operating as a centre-half before filling in at right-back in the final weeks of the Premier League campaign. Chalobah's performances have courted the interest of Inter, and football.london understand that they're expected to push hard for his signature.
It's said that the defender's versatility is a major selling point and the Nerazzurri believe their formation and play-style will suit him. With the European Championships next year, Chalobah wants to challenge for a place in Gareth Southgate's squad – so game time is his priority.
However, the former England Under-21 international isn't the only Blues ace on Inter's radar. It's said that Kalidou Koulibaly could be on the agenda in meetings between Chelsea and the Italian giants following a turbulent debut season in the English top-flight.
There's also plenty of speculation surrounding Andre Onana, and Romelu Lukaku has been heavily linked with a return to the San Siro so the two clubs could certainly have a lot of business to conduct this summer. Nevertheless, in May, Frank Lampard heaped tremendous praise on Chalobah, suggesting why he so sought after.
"I was looking forward to working with Trev, because I didn’t get that chance when I was here before," said the former Chelsea caretaker manager. "In my short period here, you look at the individual performances and I’ve been very happy.

"It’s been nice and I appreciate what a high-level player he is. The bigger picture is the way he’s applying himself since I’ve come back. He’s a delight to train with every day because he comes in with enthusiasm. He’s low maintenance, and when you talk about the things you want, he tries to do them on the pitch — which is a great thing."
