Though we have not seen much of him in Las Vegas Summer League so far, in the short bursts we have seen big man Trevion Williams, he has been a mix of spectacular passes, surprising ballhandling skills, and some mistakes that make even casual fans wince. The rawness of his game was expected, though, and the flashes he makes as a unique big man may be enough to earn him a two way deal with the Boston Celtics.
His best game yet in the annual Sin City exhibition series came in a 108-91 blowout of the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday that saw the Purdue product put up 11 points and as many rebounds with 3 assists and a steal for good measure while shooting a very good 5-of-6 from the field and 1-of-2 from beyond the arc.
If you missed his play against Memphis or just want another look before the team’s last contest of summer league play in 2022 against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night, check out the clip embedded below to see Williams’ best plays against the Griz courtesy of YouTuber Tomasz Kordylewski.
