Giles on the fight's key moment
“I’m always happy with the win. I’m not necessarily the happiest of my performance. I could have been cleaner. I was trying to get him out of there. I had San Antonio out there watching me and stuff. I was born here, had a lot of my family out here, friends, o I wanted to get him out of there. I didn’t want a decision, but I still got the job done.”
Giles on the split decision
“I felt some He was sitting on the stool. He kind of looked hurt. I was still up walking around. So I feel like that that left an impression on everybody and I feel like it showed that I was the one that was winning the fight and deserved that victory.”
Giles on what he wants next
“I’m just going home getting with my family and just enjoying time with them, healing up a little bit, getting back into the gym and looking forward to that next contract, the next paycheck.”
