Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has responded to a social media joke made by Rio Ferdinand.
The Manchester United hero has often shared his admiration for the 23-year-old, and sat down with him and Andy Robertson to discuss their partnership for a TV interview in October 2020. On Wednesday, the BT pundit shared an old photo of himself and Wayne Rooney in United training during the late 2000s. In the Instagram post, he is seen with a hairstyle similar to that currently donned by Alexander-Arnold.
