Trent Alexander-Arnold has admitted Liverpool "got the job done" following their hard-fought 1-0 win over West Ham on Saturday evening.
A first-half Sadio Mane strike proved to be the game's decisive moment in a breathless encounter between the Premier League pair at Anfield.
The Reds were lacklustre for much of the second-half, with Mane's goal ultimately proving enough for them to claim all three points.
The vital win means Jurgen Klopp 's side have moved back to within three points of league leaders Manchester City, who welcome city rivals Manchester United to the Etihad on Sunday.
Liverpool endured a few hairy moments against the Hammers on Saturday, but Alexander-Arnold was quick to praise his teammates for their ability to grind out yet another crucial result.
"Look at the Burnley game, when we also got a 1-0 win," the 23-year-old stated following the Reds triumph over West Ham. "It's great to win by a big margin but these are the ones that matter.
"It doesn't matter how you do it, you have to get the job done."
Alexander-Arnold himself played an integral role in Liverpool's latest success, making vital contributions at both ends.
The right-back set up Mane for the game's only goal, controlling Naby Keita's pass with his chest before drilling a defence-splitting ball behind West Ham's backline and into the path of the onrushing Senegalese striker.
Alexander-Arnold's latest assist brought his tally to 16 for the season - his best individual return for a single campaign, surpassing his previous record of 15 from both 2018-19 and 2019-20.
However, perhaps just as crucially, the England international denied West Ham an all-important equaliser, racing back to clear Pablo Fornal's dinked effort off his own goal-line.

Speaking after the match, Alexander-Arnold added: "I try to contribute as much as I can to the team.
"We all want to help win games for the team and I am happy to be able to continue.
"Both me and Andy (Robertson) tried to get forward when we had the chance, but to keep a clean sheet was our aim and we have been able to do that over the last few weeks.
"Being able to clear one off the line was great as it helped us keep that clean sheet."
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson also echoed Alexander-Arnold's comments about his side's ability to grind out results as they claimed a seventh successive Premier League win to maintain the pressure on City.
“It was always going to be a tough game," Henderson stated. "West Ham are a good team and made life difficult.
“We were prepared for that. It was tough but I’m pleased with the way we reacted. We got a clean sheet, which is important and got the three points which is the main thing.
"Lanzini had great chance, but we had chances as well in first half. So there were chances at both ends. We dominated the ball for large parts and towards the end we had to grind it out."
