Travis Scott has deleted his Instagram account.
Some fans believe the musician made the decision after being mocked for his Halloween costume.
Scott shared a photo of himself dressed as Batman, which prompted cruel comments from trolls about the efforts he had taken.
“Y’all really bullied Travis Scott off Instagram?” one fan wrote after Scott deactivated his account.
However, others think it’s more likely to be a signal that Scott is preparing to release new music, after he dropped a hint earlier in the year.
In August, Scott appeared to reveal that his next album will be called Utopia, in a message to fans that celebrated the one-year anniversary of his critically acclaimed album, Astroworld.
Travis Scott recently shared his latest single, “The Plan”, which featured on the soundtrack for Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster, Tenet.
Scott’s former girlfriend Kylie Jenner, with whom he has a child, recently landed her sister Kendall in hot water after sharing photos of her joint birthday/Halloween party.
Kylie Jenner attended the rooftop party, as did other celebrities including Justin Bieber, Jaden Smith, Saweetie, Doja Cat and The Weeknd.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the party was held at Harriet’s Rooftop at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood.
Every person, both staff and guests, reportedly had to have tested negative for Covid-19 before entering the venue.
However, in LA, it has been advised that citizens should not be participating in public celebrations.
If parties do go ahead, they are expected to adhere to strict protocols, including that guests are limited to three households, that the event is held outdoors with physical distancing in place, and that the event cannot last longer than two hours.
