Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is officially making the leap to acting.
While he’s not retiring from the NFL just yet, he did just land a role on the new Ryan Murphy horror series Grotesquerie alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville, per Variety.
The NFL veteran executive produced an independent film that premiered at SXSW in March, and now Kelce will make his major acting debut on the new Murphy series from FX.
The Chiefs tight end confirmed the casting news on Instagram on Tuesday night.
Although Kelce just signed an extension with the Chiefs, it sure sounds like Hollywood will be on his mind when his playing days are over.
His recently retired brother, Jason Kelce, will be joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football this fall, so perhaps both of them will be staying on screens big and small once they’re both done with their playing days.
