Travis Kelce was so happy that Pat McAfee caught his Taylor Swift reference during an interview

The Kansas City Chiefs had themselves a stress-free weekend, watching the wild-card action from home as the top-seed in the AFC. But now that the Chiefs know who they will be playing (the Texans on Saturday), it’s back to work for Travis Kelce and Kansas City.

And it sounds like the 35-year-old tight end is feeling, well, 22 ahead of the matchup with Houston.

Kelce appeared on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday and was asked how he was feeling after the long regular season. Kelce said he was feeling great. In fact, he was “feeling 22 all over again.”

Let’s just say that the reference to Taylor Swift’s song, 22, did not go unnoticed.

McAfee busted out his own rendition of the chorus as A.J. Hawk — who apparently never speaks — kind of danced along in the split screen. Kelce, though, was pumped that McAfee caught the reference.

He knew exactly what he was doing there. And with Saturday’s game being played at Arrowhead Stadium, we can probably expect the 14-time Grammy winner to be in attendance as well.
