Travis Kelce unloads on media for calls to fire Mike Tomlin with an NSFW response on New Heights podcast

With a win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Mike Tomlin improved his unbelievable streak to 17 years without a losing season as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Things this season haven’t been easy or particularly smooth for the Steelers, struggling with subpar quarterback play from starter Kenny Pickett, injuries (including the aforementioned Pickett), drama with the wide receiving corps and a mid-season change at offensive coordinator.

But the consistency of Tomlin is remarkable, even if it’s understandable fans in Pittsburgh want to see postseason success once again. Consider the fact that teams like Chicago, Washington, Detroit, Miami, and New York — both Jets and Giants — have had at least five head coaches since Tomlin took over in 2007. Division rival Cleveland? A whopping nine different men have held the title for the Browns.

So it’s understandable that Jason and Travis Kelce erupted on this week’s New Heights episode about cries for Tomlin’s job emerged in the media over the course of the season. He didn’t mince words.
