Travis Kelce’s corny-as-hell pickup line for Taylor Swift proves he has zero game

Travis Kelce may be a SuperBowl winning athlete, but his attempt to shoot his shot with Taylor Swift is closer to Uncle Rico during his “glory days” in Napoleon Dynamite.

Swift is one of the world’s biggest superstars, which means the stakes must be raised if you approach her (in my opinion). Kelce came in hot with a friendship bracelet a while back, sending the internet into a frenzy with questions.

Even his brother, Jason Kelce, has resorted to being the “Ian Rapoport of [his] dating relationships” lately, attempting to give updates without really knowing what’s going on.

Pat McAfee managed to get Kelce on his show Thursday to have him answer the rumors.

It took Travis a bit to answer McAfee’s question, but he eventually explained that he would like to have Swift come to Arrowhead Stadium so she could see whose performing skills are “a little more lit.”

Travis, please. All that swag you have on game days, and this is the best you could come up with? It’s you. Hi. You’re the problem. It’s you.

Honestly, corny-as-hell pickup lines deserve corny-as-hell analysis. Swift should respond, saying, “I knew you were trouble when you walked in.”

OK, that was probably too much, but my point is proven.

Pull it together, Travis!
