Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made a pretty surprising admission during Monday night’s annual pre-Super Bowl media availability.
Ahead of playing in his fourth Super Bowl in five seasons, Kelce told reporters that he wants to win this Super Bowl more than any other he’s ever played in during his career.
His reason? He wants this particular Chiefs team to enjoy the ultimate NFL victory and for the Chiefs to join the all-time great NFL teams who have won back-to-back Super Bowls.
“I want this one more than I’ve ever wanted a Super Bowl before in my life,” Kelce said in his explanation.

Kelce has two rings already in his career, and he sounds very eager to win a third to help make Kansas City one of the best NFL teams of all time.
It’s a very understandable pursuit, and we’ll see if the Chiefs are able to live into this once they take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
