By all accounts, Ed Kelce is not a man with whom one should trifle.
The father of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Eagles center Jason Kelce comes from a long line of military personnel, as he has recounted to his sons in the past on their podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. When Crohn's disease forced him from the Coast Guard, he gravitated toward the steel industry, sometimes bringing his sons to his work in Northeast Ohio's mills.
As the Kelce brothers hilariously recounted on this week’s podcast episode, alarm bells went off when they learned their dad was chatting Sunday with the woman with whom Travis Kelce has been spending time—superstar musician Taylor Swift.
"If you were watching the game, you saw something momentous happen," Jason Kelce said. "Taylor Swift talking to Ed Kelce."
"Yeah, Taylor talking to Dad—you know Dad like I know Dad..." Travis added.
"...he shouldn't be talking to Taylor Swift," Jason finished.

"This is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible," Travis said as Jason burst out laughing.
"If you see Dad talking to anybody and you can't hear what's happening, who knows where that conversation's going?" Jason said.
The Kelces went on to clarify they were just messing with their dad, and noted that it was nice to see him get some attention after all the airtime afforded their mother.
"He started listening to her music a little more," Travis added.
