Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has officially weighed in on the latest drama between his team and the Cincinnati Bengals.
To catch you up: Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow recently said that he felt Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was the best quarterback in the NFL. Understandable!
However, Burrow’s Cincy teammate, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase said that Burrow was the best quarterback in the NFL and quipped, “Pat who?”
Well, as you can imagine, that wasn’t going to go unanswered from Mahomes, who replied with a photo of himself with his two Super Bowl rings and the caption, “that’s who.”
As much as that might’ve signaled that this silly saga was over, Travis Kelce entered the chat on a recent episode of his podcast New Heights with brother Jason Kelce.
The Chiefs tight end didn’t necessarily have too much inflammatory commentary on the situation, as he’s a notorious trash talker himself. He even went so far as to compliment Chase on his trash-talking ability.
However, Travis Kelce did playfully warn Chase about his sarcastic Mahomes slander. We’ll let the Chiefs standout take it from here.
Some NSFW language to follow.

Well, you had to figure Travis Kelce would throw a little heat in there at the end after delivering a measured response beforehand. This is the NFL, after all, and playing the heel is one of the Chiefs tight end’s specialities.
Does this mean this silly saga is over? Of course not. We’ve not even gotten to the 2023 NFL regular season; expect regular banter between these two teams from here on out.
