After winning his second career Super Bowl title, Travis Kelce will be hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. Given the Kansas City Chiefs star’s propensity for flair — especially while celebrating his team’s latest championship — he’s probably the best active NFL player for the job.
Chances are, Kelce will likely add to some of the best SNL sketches featuring athletes.
A promotional clip Kelce filmed with the SNL crew proves an awesome episode could be in store. The video features Kelce as the famed cinematic character Indiana Jones, trying to steal a golden SNL logo by replacing it with the Lombardi Trophy.
It’s a delightful little snippet of the creativity that Kelce and Co. might show off with him hosting for the first time:

If you think about it, Kelce cosplaying as Jones is a perfect match.
Jones is a charismatic adventuring archaeologist willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. Kelce is a charismatic adventuring football player willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. That, or Kelce just really likes the Indiana Jones film series.
