Travis Barker has opened up about the feud between his wife Kourtney Kardashian and her sister Kim and the rumours that he is the root of the feud.
The reality television sisters have been arguing for several months - with their falling out documented in the past seasons of The Kardashians.
Some fans have speculated that Blink 182 drummer Barker, 47, might be the reason behind the falling out - especially as he called Kim “hot” in his book, published before he met and married her older sister.
In his 2016 memoir Can I say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums, Barker details meeting Kim through his ex and her ex-employer, Paris Hilton.
In the book, he recalls “secretly checking out Kim” in 2006 while she was Paris Hilton's stylist and telling a friend: “I don’t care if she’s the closet girl, she’s f***ing hot.”
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times on Sunday, Barker denied he had anything to do with the feud.
“You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous.”
The row began last season when Kim, 43, collaborated with Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana on a nineties themed collection.
Older sister Kourtney, 44, said the collaboration was Kim copying her wedding theme. She and Barker tied the knot in Italy in a gothic, 90s-style celebration.
And in one particularly heated conversation in the last season of the show, Kim revealed she and her sisters Khloe, Kendall and Kylie had set up a WhatsApp group to discuss Kourtney’s apparent change in behaviour since being with Barker.
In the show, Kim confronted Kourtney over the phone about how she had changed since her May 2022 marriage to drummer Travis.
“You're a different person. We all talk about it.
“We're all confused, and we’re on a group chat that’s actually labeled Not Kourtney.”
Kim also claims that Mason, Penelope, and Reign had all “come to [her] with problems they have” about their mom.
Barker and Kardashian are expecting a baby boy imminently.
In September, the American socialite revealed that she had undergone “urgent foetal surgery” in an Instagram post and said that she was “eternally grateful” to Barker who was due to play gigs across the UK and Ireland but travelled back to the US so that he could be by her side.
Speaking to Vogue about the medical emergency, Kardashian said: “That experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of pregnancy that I didn’t know about in the past.”
She added: “It was terrifying. After, I learned that insurance typically only covers two ultrasounds when you’re pregnant, I had no idea.
“I’ve always been lucky enough to do more than what insurance covers, and it’s one of those ultrasounds that saved my baby’s life.”
Discussing how she had first tried to get pregnant with Barker using in vitro fertilisation (IVF), she added: “I felt really pressured and pushed into doing IVF…
“It went against my intuition, and I didn’t feel fully prepared for the mental or physical toll is takes.”
The couple then took a break from IVF for their Portofino wedding, which took place in May 2022.
Kardashian said: “We just got pregnant naturally. It was an indescribable feeling. Shock, then super-happy, fear sets in, worry, but I remembered then to have gratitude.”
