Travis Barker is reportedly suffering from pancreatitis after being rushed to hospital by ambulance in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.
The Blink-182 star, 46, was accompanied by his worried wife Kourtney Kardashian to West Hills hospital before he was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
Now sources close to the family have told TMZ that his hospitalisation was a result of pancreatitis, with doctors believing it was triggered by a colonoscopy.
Pancreatitis is a condition in which the pancreas becomes inflamed over a short period of time and is a rare potential complication following a colonoscopy.
Symptoms include intense stomach pain, vomiting and fever.
Mirror Online has contacted Travis' representatives for comment.
Travis' concerned daughter shared a post on her Instagram story, asking her 1.4million fans to "please send your prayers" following the news of Travis' hospitalisation.
In a now-deleted image originally shared on her TikTok page, 16-year-old Alabama posted a photo of herself holding her dad's hand while he was sat upright in a hospital bed.
The image showed Travis wearing a black brace over his wrist and thumb while he held his phone in the other.
He was also seen wearing a white hospital identity band around his wrist. Alabama covered this with a pink heart emoji to hide Travis' personal details.
A wire could be seen coming from a dark blue frame onto the bed.
Meanwhile, Travis was wrapped in a white hospital gown and had a dark grey and black fluffy blanket over his lap.
Amid the ordeal, Travis tweeted: "God save me", sparking fans to share supportive messages in response.
One wrote: "God save the greatest drummer (arguably the greatest musician) of all time. He’s too young to die. He just started his marriage and he is happy. Please don’t steal him from his wife, and his children. This guy deserves your grace lord, and we know you know that. Amen."
Another wrote: "God saved you in the plane crash. God chose you to survive. Your work is not done. You are a warrior survivor. Breathe. You got this".
While a third added: "We hope everything is okay. Sending all of our love and well wishes", followed by a red heart emoji.
Travis' wife Kourtney and the rest of the Kardashian family are yet to speak out about the drummer's health issue.
It comes a month after Kourtney and Travis exchanged vows in a stunning wedding ceremony at Castello Brown in Portofino, Italy.
The pair said "I do" in front of friends and family in a wedding sponsored by Dolce and Gabbana on Saturday 15 May.
