Travis Barker 'not fazed' by sharing intimate details of his and Kourtney's IVF journey

Travis Barker has said he doesn't mind airing the process of his and Kourtney Kardashian's IVF.

The Blink-182 drummer, 47, and reality TV star, 43, will open up about their journey to parenthood on Hulu and Disney+'s The Kardashians.

Travis revealed he is "unfazed" about which intimate details are shown on camera, as long as it can "help people" as the story would be "relatable".

He hopes the journey, which he said is "super hard for a woman", will encourage woman to are struggling with IVF to "talk about it".

The musician hopes to normalise the role men play in couples' IVF and really doesn't care which parts of his make it on TV.

"I don’t care if I’m c**ming in a cup, or whatever," he told GQ magazine of sharing some of the most intimate parts of IVF on camera. "It's real life".

He added: "If any of that can help people – seeing Kourtney’s journey through IVF, which is super hard for a woman. You saw her struggle with it and talk about it. That’s real.

"And there’s however many millions of dudes that have to go give their semen for this same procedure. So it’s, like, relatable, you know? I’ve never been fazed by any of that."

Despite being so open to showing those deeply personal moments with TV crews, Travis had previously wanted to keep some moments of his relationship away from the cameras.

Travis admitted he hadn't wanted his proposal to Poosh founder Kourtney filmed last year.

He told the magazine that it was momager Kris Jenner who had requested to document the couple's beautiful beach front engagement.

He ultimately agreed with his now mother-in-law but on one major condition. "I can’t see one camera, and Kourtney cannot see one camera," he told Kris.

The Kardashians camera crews eventually managed to rig up GoPro cameras inside the famous red roses used during Travis' fairy-tale proposal.

Travis had given up on love and exploring the world after a fiery horror plane crash before he fell madly in love with Kourtney.

He swore off relationships and flying in 2008 following his divorce from Shanna Moakler and his near-death plane crash during the same year.

Just last year, he faced his fears as he and Kourtney took a flight in Kylie Jenner's jet to Mexico.

Speaking of the ordeal he told GQ: "Kourtney’s been everywhere beautiful in the world that I’ve never even heard of.

"I was like, 'If you ever want me to fly with you, just tell me 8 to 10 hours before.'"

GQ’s Men of the Year issue hits newsstands on Tuesday, November 22.
