A group of travellers who set up at a Nottingham park and ride have now left the site. Nottinghamshire Live was contacted by someone who saw the caravans on their way to work on Tuesday morning, March 14.
The group pitched up at the Queens Drive park and ride facility, though it is not clear exactly when the travellers arrived on the site. The city council confirmed the group had left around 5pm on Tuesday.

It is not the first time travellers have set up at the Queens Drive site. Around six caravans also pitched up there in February 2020, with the travellers believed to have arrived overnight on that occasion.
The Queens Drive park and ride is situated just off the Dunkirk Island and A52 Clifton Bridge, connecting commuters to the city centre and Queen's Medical Centre.
The facility contains more than 900 spaces and is managed by Nottingham City Council, which says the car park is for daily use and that nobody is permitted to park there overnight.
In the past, travellers have also pitched up on the grounds of the nearby Redfield Way Boulevard Retail Park, off the A52 Clifton Boulevard.
