Say "bonjour" to a European getaway with one-way fares to France and Belgium reduced to just £35 on the Eurostar this summer.
In the latest flash sale event that went live yesterday, a trip to the continent could cost as little as £35 each way to visit the French cities of Paris or Lille or a hop across the border to Brussels in Belgium.

If you want to experience the romance of Paris in the summer, there are still plenty of £35 tickets available for mid-week dates in the latter part of July, most of August and the first week of September.
August is a particularly excellent time to visit the city of love, as the ‘Paris Plagues’ sees parts of the city transformed into fun-filled beaches and the streets are filled with the sound of music as numerous festivals take place across the various arrondissements.
If you are tied to weekend travel, prices rise from between £84 to £109 – a big increase on the mid-week special deals.
The northern city of Lille is famous for its historic churches and cathedrals including the stunning Notre Dame de la Treille, its incredible art museums and Franco-Flemish architecture, its thriving nightlife, delicious food and plentiful array of local craft breweries.
The Eurostar website currently has £35 tickets available in July, August and the first week of September, and in just one hour and 20 minutes, you could be exploring the vibrant markets and enjoying the pleasant weather on the other side of the Chanel.
It’s not just France that is included in the flash sale, as trips to Belgium are also available for ridiculously low prices.
For the same £35 ticket price, you can discover the rich history and vibrant culture the Flemish city has to offer in July, August and the first week of September.
In the summer months, the quirky capital plays host to the Ommengang Festival with its opulent historic gala and the Brussels Summer Festival, a 10-day music festival that fills the streets with the sounds of hip-hop, rock, classical music and jazz.
Throw into the mix some of the best beer in Europe and a side order of ‘moules et frites’ and you will get a whole load of fun for just £35 each way.
Availability and booking can be accessed directly via the Eurostar website.
For holidaymakers looking to book a city break with travel and accommodation already included, low-cost tour operator easyJet is offering flights and hotel rooms in Paris with prices starting from £206 per person in July.
