A group of travellers have pitched up at Victoria Embankment with a number of caravans and vehicles spotted on the site. At Least nine caravans have been set up on The Meadows
They have pitched up in the parking area on Wilford Grove near the playground on the The Meadows Recreation Ground. Pictures show the caravans and other vehicles pitched up on the site on Sunday May 7.
It comes after travellers set up at Stockhill Park - located in Stockhill Lane - on Wednesday, May 3.

And group of travellers, reported to be towing 18 caravans, moved onto the grounds of Cavaliers & Carrington Cricket Club on Esher Grove, Mapperley Park a few weeks ago.
Back in August last year, at least four caravans and a car arrived at The Meadows Recreation Ground, behind the War Memorial. This was the third encampment there in the space of just three months.
