One traveller who complained online said they should have been on a train from St Pancras to Amsterdam but had to get to Heathrow instead to try to catch a flight “thanks to total chaos on the high speed line out of London today.”
After arriving at St Pancras at 10:00 for my @Eurostar to Amsterdam I’ve made it all the way to Heathrow, waiting for a flight at 17:45. Thanks to total chaos on the high speed line out of London today. Eventually I might end up at @SymphonyDotLive studio!! #useless

Another traveller, Richard Smith, posted pictures of long queues and said the passenger lounge “must’ve been intolerable” while “passport control is backed up”.
