TRANSPORT Secretary Mairi McAllan tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart Iain Renwick this weekend.
They were married at the Biggar Kirk in South Lanarkshire, where the couple celebrated with family and friends on Saturday.
The couple have been together since they were teenagers.
McAllan wore a white dress from Melle Cloche in Glasgow and her husband wore a black suit.
She was appointed cabinet secretary for transport, net zero and just transition by First Minister Humza Yousaf after he was elected leader of the SNP in March.
Congratulating the couple, Mr Yousaf, said: “I am so happy for Mairi and Iain, and congratulate them on this exciting chapter in their lives as a married couple.
“I wish them all the joy, love and happiness in the world, as they begin their married life together.”
