Transport police release CCTV image of man following incident on Lanarkshire train

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following an incident on board an East Kilbride-bound train.

Officers are continuing to investigate an incident that happened on board the 17.33 Glasgow Central to East Kilbride ScotRail service on Thursday, December 16 last year.

They believe the individual may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police say that the man may have information that could assist them and would urge him or any members of the public who recognise him to contact police.

The male is described as white, aged around late 40's/early 50's, tall, of slim build and with brown short hair, wearing a dark coloured jacket, dark blue jeans and carrying a dark coloured backpack.

British Transport Police can be contacted by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2100098044.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
