Police are hunting a group of teenage girls who allegedly attacked a male passenger before assaulting an elderly woman on a London train.
The alleged attacks, which are believed to be connected, took place on two Southeastern services on the evening of Tuesday, March 18.
At around 9.30pm, a man was on a train from London Bridge to Woolwich Arsenal in Greenwich when the three female suspects hit him.
Later that night at around 11pm, a female pensioner was travelling from London Bridge to Erith in Bexley when a girl assaulted her.
Another woman intervened and the girl also attempted to fight her, the British Transport Police said.
Officers believe the same group of girls were involved in both of these incidents, the force added.

On Tuesday, the BTP issued CCTV images of the girls they want to trace after the separate incidents.
One of the suspects has curly hair and is wearing an eskimo jacket, while another has her locks straightened and is donning a grey tracksuit.
The third girl in question has light brunette hair and is wearing dark lipstick and a black designer coat.
They believe the girls in these images may have information which could help with their investigation.
A BTP spokesman added: “Anyone who recognises them, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800405040, quoting reference 770 of March 18.
“Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111.”
