A spokesperson from the North West Ambulance Service said the man has non-serious injuries. Traffic can pass the scene with no issues due to the van being propped up against the wall on a grass embankment.
Traffic monitoring service, INRIX is reporting some delays on Edge Lane following the incident. Police remain in the area while the van is recovered.
