Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has revealed no offers have been made for Nottingham Forest transfer target Konstantinos Mavropanos.
German outlet Kicker recently reported that Forest are willing to pay €20m (£17.6m) for the former Arsenal defender, with a summer transfer possible as head coach Steve Cooper looks to improve his defence.
Mavropanos' Stuttgart are cruising to relegation from the Bundesliga, and face the likelihood of competing in the second division next season. That could see an exit for Mavropanos made easier for the player, and there are plenty of suitors ready to pounce.

Amid interest from Forest, Leeds have also been linked with an interest in signing the 25-year-old. So there could be something of a Premier League transfer battle in the summer, but Forest seem willing to make their move.
But so far there have been no official officers, with Wohlgemuth telling BW24 : "Completely detached from the question of whether we would even be willing to talk in one case or another, there is no official request for either Hiroki Ito or Konstantinos Mavropanos."
A refusal to say whether Stuttgart will be willing to talk about a transfer suggests things may hinge on relegation, which appears almost a certainty for Stuttgart at this point. It could become a waiting game for Forest as they look to get their man.
