Tramlines Festival’s 2023 line up has been revealed and it features not one but two huge Manchester headliners, as well as a whole host of big name acts who have recently drawn in massive crowds in the city.
Taking place between Friday, July 21 and Sunday, July 23 in Sheffield, the first wave of acts announced has been seriously impressive.
Organisers of the festival have been teasing the line up announcement for weeks, and when it finally dropped at 6pm last night (Tuesday, January 31), it received a wave of support from ticket holders and music fans.

The colourful line up poster has revealed Richard Ashcroft, Courteeners and Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott to be the headliners for the three day festival, which takes place at Hillsborough Park, just 75 minutes from Manchester city centre.
Higher End’s former The Verve frontman will kick things off on the Friday night, followed by Middleton-formed rockers Courteeners on Saturday, a whopping 15 years after their debut album St Jude exploded onto the scene.
Paul Heaton recently played a massive Manchester show at the AO Arena, too, causing some controversy after showing the England World Cup match at the gig.
Other huge names on the bill include Stockport’s Blossoms, DMA’s, Kaiser Chiefs, and pop icons Sugababes - who also wowed Manchester audiences in 2022 at the O2 Apollo.
Bloc Party, Pale Waves, The Enemy and The Zutons are also set to perform, alongside resident slot holders Reverend and The Makers, who play the homecity festival most years.
Comedy headliners for 2023 include Jonathan Pie, Paul Smith and Omid Djalili, with loads more to be added to the 2023 lineup including The Open Arms and full Library Stage announcements.
Already, over 95 per cent of weekend tickets have sold out, but the final batch, along with cheaper day tickets, will go on sale this Friday, February 3 at midday.
