He's best known for playing heroin addict Sick Boy in the hit Brit flick Trainspotting.
But Jonny Lee Miller put on a convincing show as former Prime Minister Sir John Major as he filmed scenes for The Crown.
They were both in the spotlight in the nineties, with Jonny rising to fame as junkie Simon 'Sick Boy' Williamson and Sir John serving as PM and Leader of the Conservative Party from 1990 to 1997.

Actor Jonny, 49, donned cricket whites to umpire a game just as Sir John, 78, did back in the 90s.
Jonny, who was married to the Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie from 1996 to 2000, looked a far cry from his iconic role as Sick Boy in the dark Danny Boyle comedy in which he starred alongside Robert Carlyle and Ewan McGregor in 1996.
The announcement last year that Jonny was taking on the role was met with excitement by fans.
@linzirob tweeted to show bosses: "Have never watched The Crown…might be time to start.
"Give casting a raise."
@jamesasm said: "Sick Boy to Major. Remarkable and an excellent casting decision if he can nail the accent."
And @JLnow said: "The Crown never disappoints with their casting.
"They always pick the right actor for the job.
"Jonny Lee Miller is a tremendous talent.
"I can’t wait to see him join one of the best television series ever made."
The cricket scenes will feature in the fifth series of the hit Netflix historical drama due to air in November.
The Crown will also star Harry Potter actress Imelda Staunton as the Queen with Jonathan Pryce playing Prince Philip.
Elizabeth Debicki takes over the role of Princess Diana from Emma Corrin.
Dominic West plays Prince Charles and his real-life son Senan is Prince William.
The show's sixth and final series, which will air next year, will cover the late 90s and conclude in the early 2000s.
