Delays to some trains in Renfrewshire are expected for two more days as engineers continue to assess the risk of a cliff face collapsing onto the track.
In the meantime, trains continue to run through the affected area between Bishopton and Langbank, but with speed restricted to 5mph, leading to delays of up to ten minutes for passengers on the Glasgow Central to Gourouck/Wemyss Bay line.
The delays have been affecting passengers since Tuesday, when ScotRail first reported the incident.

ScotRail say the area has been made safe, but that further work is required.
A spokesperson for Network Rail said: “Unfortunately, we couldn’t complete the repairs needed last night. There’s more work than expected to be carried out, including clearing some vegetation to allow a detailed inspection of the boundary wall to take place.
“Trains will continue to run at 5mph past the affected area resulting in minor delays to services. Our teams will be on-site tonight and tomorrow night, clearing the fallen debris while there.
“We’d like to thank our passengers for their continued patience and understanding.”
