Five-toe performance toe sock brand Injinji has launched a new collection of very colorful designs created in collaboration with Team Injinji athlete, ultra running legend and Triple Crown winner, Courtney Dauwalter.
This signature edition collection, which goes on tie-dye patterns, is made trail runners, casual or serious, and encourages energy, fun, and confidence on the trails. And if you’ve never thought about using toe socks for running, they do have advantages and can help prevent blisters.
The Courtney Crews are like “a party on your feet,” says Dauwalter, “motivating us to have fun and enjoy the journey, no matter how difficult it gets.”
She adds, “Injinji has been with me every step of the way and the team has been nothing short of amazing. I always loved the joy tie-dye brings, so incorporating it into the collection was a no-brainer.”
The colorways also reflect two of Courtney’s major wins, the Hardrock 100 and Moab 240.
Made from Coolmax EcoMade fibers and with Injinji's signature five-toe design, The Courtney Crew is designed to keep your foot cool, dry, and protected when running or hiking through uneven rugged terrain.
They also feature a high and secure fit above the ankle to seal out debris, a band under the arch for additional support and a mesh top for breathability.
“This collaboration has been a long time in the making,” said Claire Kooperman of Injinji. “Courtney is one of the best ultra runners in the world, so when creating and designing this collection, we wanted it to reflect her as an athlete and person. We really treasured getting her input on the design and functionality and are proud that the GOAT now has a signature sock.”
The Courtney Crew comes in unisex and women’s sizing and comes in two colorways retailing for $19 (US). In addition, each pair comes with a custom elastic band that doubles as a hair tie.
