The mum of a "beautiful, kind and caring" 15 year old who died suddenly, has paid tribute to her 'baby girl' and promised to find the 'real truth'.
Kaydee-Louise Lucas from West Lothian in Scotland died last Tuesday.
Loved ones gathered at their local ruby club last night to release balloons in honour of the much-loved Whitburn Academy pupil.
The school has organised a space at their main entrance where pupils and parents can leave floral tributes to Kaydee-Louise.
And people who wish to leave their respects can also sign a book of condolences at the school.
There are not believed to have been any suspicious circumstances surrounding Kaydee-Louise's death.
Loved ones took to social media to pay tribute to the youngster, including Kaydee-Louise's mum Jo Bell.
Ms Bell said: "Gone too soon I love you baby girl.
"I will find the real truth, baby. I promise you that even if it's the last thing I do, you're always here with me."
In another post, the heartbroken mum added: "Don't know what to do with myself."
Stephanie Jayne Ellis said: "Honestly can't get over it.
"Fifteen years old and had her whole life ahead of her, it's absolutely devastating."
Jade Michelle said: "So sad that she had her full life ahead of her, I can't get my head around it. Poor baby girl will now be at peace."
Brogan Ramage said: "Fly high my gorgeous angel."
Janet Clarke said: "Fly high with the angels Kaydee."
Jennifer Thomson said: "Another young life gone too soon, RIP Kaydee, thoughts to the family."
Catherine Meadowcroft has arranged a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs to give Kaydee-Louise the best send off possible.
Catherine wrote: "I'm raising funds to help the family of Kaydee-Louise Lucas to help towards funeral plans to give her the best possible send off.
"Kaydee was 15-years-old and tragically lost her life unexpectedly on Tuesday evening. She was a beautiful, kind and caring young girl who was loved and thought after by many."
She added: "We are so moved by the donations so far, as you can imagine we were not prepared to be planning Kaydees funeral, not at 15.
"Kaydee was such a loving, bubbly girl. She loved doing her makeup and spending time with her friends.
"Kaydee suffered a very hard life from when she was born, and we know she would appreciate the support she is receiving from everyone.
"Anything raised over and above her funeral costs will be donated to Suicide Awareness."
