A 'tragic incident' occurred on the DART line in Dublin early this morning.
It happened on the line between Dalkey and Bray, with DART services suspended between the two stations.
The line re-opened shortly before 8am however, commuters were warned to expect "delays".
Services continued to operate from Dalkey to Malahide/Howth and from Bray to Greystones.
Irish Rail said that Dublin Bus were honouring rail tickets during the suspension of services.
A spokesperson for Irish Rail said on Twitter: “DART services remain suspended between Dalkey & Bray due to a tragic incident.
"Services are operating from Dalkey to Malahide/Howth and from Bray to Greystones.
"Dublin Bus are honouring rail tickets."
In an update at 7.50am, an Irish Rail spokesperson said: "The line between Dalkey and Bray has reopened. Dart services are resuming, subject to delays."
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror they could not provide detailed information due to the sensitivities involved.
