A tragic incident unfolded near Falcon Field airport in Mesa, Arizona, as a small business jet crashed, claiming the lives of five individuals, including a 12-year-old boy. The aircraft, identified as a six-seater HondaJet HA-420, was en route to Provo, Utah, when it abruptly aborted takeoff. The plane veered off the runway, crashing through the airport's perimeter fence before colliding with a vehicle on a nearby road.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the failed takeoff. The National Transportation Safety Board, in collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration and local Mesa authorities, is spearheading the inquiry to determine the cause of the tragic crash.

Tragically, four of the five passengers on board the jet lost their lives at the crash site. The pilot, who remains unidentified, sustained severe burn injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The victims of this devastating incident have been identified as 12-year-old Graham Kimball, his 44-year-old father Drew Kimball, Rustin Randall (48), and Spencer Lindahl (43). Both Randall and Lindahl were managers at Ice Man Holdings LLC, a Mesa-based company.

In addition to the occupants of the jet, the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision also perished at the scene. Authorities have refrained from disclosing the individual's identity pending formal identification procedures.
