The Vicar Of Dibley cast has been rocked by tragedy as five of the main characters have died.
News hit headlines Trevor Peacock had died this week.
Late members of The Vicar of Dibley cast — Trevor, Emma Chambers, Roger Lloyd-Pack, John Bluthal and Liz Smith — all touched the hearts of The Vicar Of Dibley fans.
Their characters had a huge impact on the on-screen residents and village of Dibley.
The series ran from 1994 until 2007.
Dawn French has fondly remembered her cast mates over the years.
Trevor Peacock
Actor Trevor died aged 89 on March 8.
Instantly he would be recognised as his Dibley Parish Council member character Jim Trott in the BBC comedy series.
He won a huge fan base with his saucy remarks and his catchphrase of "no no no no...".
Trevor had retired from acting in recent years due to his declining health.
His last appearance on-screen was in a 2015 Vicar of Dibley Comic Relief special.
Trevor's death was revealed by his agent who confirmed the sad news.
The family statement read: "Trevor Peacock, actor, writer and song-writer, died aged 89 on the morning of March 8th from a dementia-related illness."
Trevor's co-star Dawn French wrote: "Night Trev. I love you."
Emma Chambers
Actress Emma died aged 53 in February 2018.
The Vicar of Dibley star played the role of Alice Tinker from 1994 until 2007.
As her most iconic role, she landed the British Comedy Award for Best Actress Award for her performance in 1998.
Another highlight in her career included joining the star-studded cast of Notting Hill where she played Honey Thacker who was the younger sister of Hugh Grant's on-screen character.
She died of natural causes.
The statement released at the time read: "Emma created a wealth of characters and an immense body of work. She brought laughter and joy to many".
Roger Lloyd-Pack
Actor Roger died aged 69 in 2014.
The TV star had become instantly well loved as Trigger from series The Only Fools and Horses.
He won over even more fans with his role as Owen Newitt in The Vicar of Dibley.
His character was certainly memorable as he was often swearing or late for Parish council meetings with absurd excuses.
In real life, he had been battling pancreatic cancer.
The star died at his home surrounded by his wife and his close family.
John Bluthal
Actor John died aged 89 in November 2018.
The Vicar of Dibley star was best known for his role of Frank Pickle in the series.
His character was known for telling very, very, long stories to people in the village.
In a memorable storyline, Frank came out as gay.
However, the character quickly found out hardly anyone had tuned in because of his knack for telling incredibly long stories.
At the time of his death, his agent released this statement: "We’re sad to announce our wonderful client John Bluthal has passed away. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
"John provided us all with years of laughter and entertainment. We will miss John hugely."
Liz Smith
Actress Liz died aged 95 in December 2016.
The TV star didn't start her stellar acting career until she was 49.
She was an instant hit with viewers as Letitia Cropley in The Vicar Of Dibley.
It made her a household name everywhere.
However, her character died in the Easter special episode in 1996.
She became equally well known for her character Nana in The Royle Family.
