Tragedy as 21-year-old Leeds biker dies after being hit by a car

A 21-year-old Leeds man has died following a serious crash in Bramley.

Bailey Sorren died in hospital on Monday, April 5, after he suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car while riding a motorbike.

On Saturday, March 25, Bailey was riding white KTM 125 Duke on Broad Lane junction, beforebeing hit by a blue Vaxuhall Adam in Bell Lane.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police and the Major Collision Enquiry Team, are appealing for any witnesses or people with dashcam footage to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Police have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses to a collision In Leeds after the motorcyclist involved passed away in hospital.

"Bailey Sorren, who was 21 and from Leeds, died yesterday (3 April) following the collision, which happened in Bramley at about 6.10pm on Saturday, 25 March.

"Bailey suffered serious injuries after the white KTM 125 Duke motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Adam, close to the Broad Lane junction with Bell Lane.

"This incident is now being investigated by the Major Collision Enquiry Team, who would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has footage that may assist their enquiries. Anyone who witnessed the collision or the movements of either vehicle prior to it is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or by using the LiveChat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website."
